Patrick Clifton

Founder, Chairman and CEO

Patrick Clifton is the founder, CEO and Chairman of Clifton Meridian LLC, a real estate development and investment firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Clifton’s firm focuses primarily on upscale whole and fractional ownership residential beach front projects. Currently, they have communities under development in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico valued at over $170,000,000.

Mr. Clifton has founded several successful businesses, including AutoAuto Wash, the largest independent owner/operator of petroleum-based car washes in the U.S. Mr. Clifton served as the CEO and Chairman of AutoAuto Wash from 1998-2003. Mr. Clifton also founded SpinCycle Inc., the largest coin-operated laundry chain in the United States. Mr. Clifton served as the CEO and Chairman of SpinCycle Inc. from 1996 to 1998, and was responsible for introducing over 100 large format “superstore” laundry units in less than two years.

Mr. Clifton has served as President and CEO of Northstar Restaurants, Inc. the Boston Market area developer for the upper Midwest and Co- CEO of Mid-America Entertainment Company which was the em>Blockbuster Video franchisee for the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. In 2002, Mr. Clifton was chosen as an Entrepreneurial Fellow of the Karl Eller Center at the University of Arizona. Through Mr. Clifton’s hard work and dedication, it is clear that his entrepreneurial skills represent his passion to succeed.

Charles Muratore, CPA

Operating Partner 

Charles Muratore is a licensed general contractor in the State of Arizona and has been involved in all phases of construction and real estate development including site selection, project design, construction management, and financing Clifton Meridian’s Puerto Peñasco developments. Mr. Muratore has been has been a licensed CPA for the past 15 years, and his experience includes employment with a large Arizona-based home builder, where he was responsible for modeling and analyzing pricing and costs, and for management of lender financing.

While living full-time in Puerto Peñasco Mr. Muratore has been working on development projects including single family residential, commercial/office buildings, hotels, restaurants and large condo projects. Mr. Muratore has formed strong relationships with local architects, builders, engineers, accountants, banks and city officials. Mr. Muratore has held financial management positions within the cable television, lumber and beverage distribution industries and was previously the CFO of a Tucson-based telecommunications company. He graduated in 1987 with a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Arizona.

Jason Silkey

Director of Development

Jason Silkey is the Director of Development for Clifton Meridian LLC. Mr. Silkey’s responsibilities at Clifton Meridian include owner, public and business relations and communications, strategic alliance formations, fractional project concepts and development, as well as overseeing the marketing and sales efforts for La Perla del Mar, Las Fuentes del Mar, and Los Patios Privados, three major luxury developments in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. Mr. Silkey has been instrumental in driving project costs down while working with US based suppliers, designers and architects on Clifton Meridian’s developments.

Mr. Silkey’s background and experience includes commercial construction and demolition; start-ups in the Health and Fitness industry; and most recently marketing, outside sales, and sales management in the digital hardware and software industry. Mr. Silkey graduated with a BA in English from Boston College. He resides in both Scottsdale, Arizona and in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico.

Giset Molina

VP of Finance / Operations

Giset Molina serves as the VP of Finance and Operations for Clifton Meridian LLC. Ms. Molina is responsible for all of the firm's accounting and financial activities. She oversees budgeting, IT infrastructure, and strategic financial planning including analysis of monetary risk/return assessments for Clifton Meridian's existing and proposed new business opportunities.

Ms. Molina brings more than 16 years of experience in finance and human resources to Clifton Meridian, LLC. Prior to joining the firm, she served as partner and controller in a Scottsdale-based real estate investment company specializing in home renovations.

Ms. Molina relocated to Arizona after working in New York City for more than 11 years. She graduated from Pace University New York with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources and Accounting.

John Silkey, LEED AP

Capital Formation & Sustainable Design

Since joining Clifton Meridian in August of 2007, Mr. Silkey’s primary focus pertains to the capital formation and financial model projections for the company's projects. His day to day duties also include aiding in sales and marketing, client communications and business operations. Mr. Silkey also directs the Sustainability Analysis and Design of current and future projects, aiming for energy and resource efficiency through building design and operation.

Mr. Silkey brings years of experience in the financial consulting industry including capital formation and allocation, and the oversight of operational performance and efficiencies as a Senior Associate and Account Executive with Thomson Financial, a strategic consulting firm investigating and analyzing institutional capital flow, trading activity and sector specific events impacting the valuation of client stocks. While at Thomson Mr. Silkey specialized in the financial stocks sector, including those in banking, investment firms, credit companies, mortgage lenders and REITs.

Mr. Silkey is LEED certified and graduated with a BA from Dartmouth College in 2000. He currently resides in Scottsdale, AZ.

Chris Miller

Sun Capital, LLC

From 1994 through 2000, Mr. Miller held various positions at U-Haul® International, Inc. (UHAL) As Treasurer of U-Haul® Self Storage Corporation (a subsidiary of U-Haul® International) and Senior Financial Analyst for UHAL, Mr. Miller’s responsibilities included the organization, underwriting, negotiation, auditing, financial modeling, management and reporting for the company’s acquisitions and financings.

Beginning in late 2000, Mr. Miller became Chief Financial Officer for AutoAuto Wash®, a start-up operation of car wash facilities. His active employment included capital raising, operations, facility openings, accounting and marketing, facilitating the growth of the chain to 27 facilities nationally in just over a year.

From 2002 through the present, Mr. Miller has been providing financial consulting services to a wide variety of organizations specializing in asset valuation, business start-up and financing and private and public company valuations. Projects include Storage Today self-storage portfolio acquisition, FleetPro Truck Wash, start-up truck wash operator, La Perla Del Mar and Las Fuentes Del Mar, Mexican condominium developments. Additionally, Mr. Miller provides various business development, financial modeling and capital formation advisement services to Synergistic Equities, LLC, a Scottsdale based private investment company.

Beginning in June 2006 to the present, Mr. Miller has been providing public company valuation, financial modeling and due diligence services to Doherty & Company, LLC, a Los Angeles based licensed broker-dealer specializing in venture capital, private equity funding, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and valuations for early stage companies.

Mr. Miller holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from Arizona State University.
